CrossFit Northvale - Group Classes

CrossFit is the most effective exercise plan in the world.

We believe in CrossFit methodology, which focuses on preparing our members the best we can for any physical and mental challenge that life throws at them. Our 60-minute group classes typically consist of a warm up, mobility, strength and/or skill work, a heart pumping metcon and finally a cool down stretch. But in true CrossFit style, come prepared to take on the unknown and unknowable, because chances are you’ll be in for a few fun surprises that don’t follow that format.

By design, our classes are small, allowing you the opportunity to always work closely with a professional coach. Because of the small group setting, we are able to monitor your movements carefully and hold you accountable. Your coach knows your goals, concerns, pre-­existing conditions and will modify workouts accordingly, if needed. Furthermore, periodic check-ups and goal setting sessions allow us to compare your data and ensure you are on track with your fitness goals. We carefully plan our programming to give you a constantly varied, yet balanced workout.

At Noskov Fitness your coaches and fellow members are your biggest fans. We all want to see you succeed. You may arrive at the gym tired, stressed, distracted, or rushed. Our Fundamentals program starts with five one-on-one informational and instructional Personal Training sessions designed for anyone new to CrossFit or strength training. We’ll guide you through the basic movements, get you familiarized with proper mechanics and technique and get your body primed to join our group classes. You’ll work with your Coach to set goals, talk nutrition, and work together to prepare you to move on to the next step of your fitness path at Noskov Fitness.

Classes can be scary at first. You don’t know anyone, some people look very fit and lots of the movements are things you may not have seen before. We understand exactly how you feel and we want to bring you into our gym in a way that makes you feel confident, excited and worry free.

Personal Training

Personal Training at Noskov Fitness isn’t just some trainer taking you through your sets and walking you from one machine to another. Your Coach knows the ins-and-outs of your fitness journey and goals, and will be the one to design your individual program to ensure every goal is met safely and efficiently. They will make sure that you make incremental, yet significant gains (or losses), and that your personal program evolves with you as your needs change and as you look to your future.

Nutrition Coaching

Our Nutrition Coaching Program at Noskov Fitness, is truly one of a kind. It is designed to provide individuals with an easy, science-based approach to nutrition and wellness, using simple behavior modification strategies to create positive change without the stress of “dieting”.

We recognize that nutrition is often a puzzling topic for many. In order to clarify and help our members establish good nutrition, we have partnered with Healthy Steps Nutrition (HSN). HSN is a CrossFit gym in South Florida owned by a Registered & Licensed Dietitian. Through our affiliation with HSN we are able to offer Nutrition Coaching to our members with the confidence that what we provide has been created by a registered dietician who understand the metabolic demands of CrossFit.

The Nutrition Coaching we offer is not designed to be a quick fix to years of unhealthy habits. Rather we aim to provide our members with an applicable, science-based approach to nutrition and wellness that they will be able to sustain long term. This is accomplished using behaviour modification strategies, rather than the stress of ‘dieting’ to create positive change. Rather than restricting food, and making nutrition a test of willpower, we focus on establishing healthy habits and a healthy mindset around food that will empower each individual to work towards their ideal body composition effectively and safely. We want to make sure that the habits that we encourage and the lifestyle that is developed as a result will yield positive results in mind and body that will be sustainable, not matter the demands of the every day. The Nutrition Programs that we offer can be modified to fit any dietary restrictions.

Kettlebell Sport Training

Kettlebell sport is the all-inclusive sport for athletes of all levels and ages, with very low level of injuries, compared to other sports. Efficiency in movement, joint mobility, elasticity and strength is developed gradually, starting with very light weights. Training for the sport develops cardio-vascular endurance, muscular strength and strength endurance. It improves mobility and builds the “joints of steel”. Training for Kettlebell Sport is in a way meditative, and somewhat similar to training for other endurance events. You constantly work to achieve perfection in the movement in order to increase efficiency.

The Kettlebell Sport community is amazing and competitions are now happening all the time all around the world. If you want to improve your conditioning and general health, and would like to be part of a community that is growing rapidly, this is your chance.

CrossFit Kids

CrossFit Kids is a method for teaching CrossFit to children ages 3-18. Based on the principle of Mechanics, Consistency and then Intensity, CrossFit Kids emphasizes good movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for kids. Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on children’s academic achievement.

CrossFit Kids is meant to be BIG fun for all ages. Broad-Inclusive-General fun. Fun means we provide an active alternative to sedentary pursuits, which means less childhood obesity and all-around better health for our children.

Vadim and Olga Noskov have been working with and training children in functional fitness and physical literacy since 2009. They have coached hundreds of kids and teens, helping them to develop life long love of fitness.​

This September we are opening kids class for 3-6 year olds!

Mondays 5:00pm - 5:45pm: Warmup, skill work, workout, game, math puzzles. Class size is limited.

10 week semester: September 11th - November 13th. Cost: $199 (+tax)

Obstacle Course Race Training

Our OCR program is designed to help you conquer your next Obstacle Course Race like a Spartan Sprint 5k or the Spartan Beast. Our program creates an exhilarating and badass group atmosphere of fitness, nutrition, and performance that optimizes individual performance in Spartan Races and other obstacle/mud run races (Tough Mudder, Warrior Dash, etc.) as well as in daily life. This OCR program utilizes a unique, independently developed strategy of strength, conditioning and endurance specifically for Obstacle Course racing.

Our Signature 6-week NO EXCUSES Challenge!   Kickstart Your Fitness! 

This Challenge includes a baseline assessment of your fitness, biometric testing before and after, 12 x one-hour small group training sessions in the first 4 weeks, Unlimited training in the last 2 weeks, and nutrition guidance that shows you exactly how to eat to get results (program provided by Registered & Licensed Dietitian). We have three class options depending on when you prefer to train (7am, 10:30am or 6:30pm) and our next courses begin on Monday, October 23rd. Classes run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for the first 4 weeks, and full schedule 7 days/week in the last two weeks.
